Anything defined as development must be approved by the City of Swan before it can proceed.
Planning consultations
The City's town planning framework is made up of a number of documents and policies which state how new development should be managed. These documents and policies have been through rigorous preparation and community engagement process to ensure they are closely aligned to the needs and aspirations of the community and all have been endorsed by Council as the City's official position.
Whenever changes are to be made these documents, or an application has been received which asks to be considered for something different to what is considered standard, the City will advertise these to obtain feedback from those affected. Below, you can find any applications or amendments to the City's framework relevant to you.
