SUBJECT SITE

Amendment involves parts of Lot 1003, Lot 407 and Lot 11 Verdelho Drive, The Vines (approx. 46.7ha combined).


WHAT IS PROPOSED?

In summary, the Applicant generally seeks to modify Outline Development Plan No.37 and its structure plan map in the following ways:

  1. Redesignate approx. 2.43ha of the existing golf course area (generally the 9th hole on The Lakes course, north of the Clubhouse) to "Driving Range" to facilitate the development of a new two-storey driving range facility, building and amenities.
  2. Amend the existing driving range (approx. 5.31ha) from "Practice Fairways and Driving Range" to "R40 (Over 55's Housing)" to enable its development for Over 55's housing and public open space.
  3. Amend Lot 407 and land generally north of the 18th hole (approx. 1.26ha) to "R60 (Medium Density Housing)" to facilitate medium density housing options south of the resort, overlooking the existing golf course and lakes.
  4. Redesignate approx.37.9ha of the existing golf course area (generally holes 1 to 8 of the Lakes course) to "14 Hole Short" to facilitate the creation of a short golf course. This change will result in 27 traditional holes, a 14-hole short course and a modern two-storey driving range facility, in addition to the already established mini-golf.

This application is only considering the merits of amending the structure plan, as detailed in Part One. It is not finalising any concept plans, layouts, elevations, appearance or access arrangements in Part Two so these are indicative only.
