- Community Safety Plan under review.
- The City, Swan Chamber of Commerce and Midland Police combined for Safer Midland project.
- CPTED audits with local businesses undertaken and awareness campaign.
- Temporary security cameras have been installed to deter and record antisocial behaviour at New Junction.
- The public toilets at Weeip Park are self-locking.
- A new pocket park on the corner of Helena Street and Victoria Street.
- Upgrade of Lloyd Penn Park.
- POS provided at New Junction.
- Upgrades to parks and benches, lighting, and shade sails.
- Resurfacing of basketball court at Warnock Park.
- Relocation of trees as part of new Midland station.
- Active education program on greening the City of Swan.
- Retain mature trees at New Junction.
- Nearly 6,000 trees planted in the LAP area.
- 45,000 free tree seedlings given to Swan residents.
- 284 nominations received a part of the Local Heritage Survey review.
- Hazardous material removed from heritage properties at New Junction.
- Approval for community use of the two heritage properties almost complete.
- Parking Management Plans in development for the Midland Railway Workshops.
- Closure of informal parking areas on Morrison Road and new signage.
- Ongoing road upgrades.
- Swan Active Midland is scheduled to reopen in early 2024.
- Midland library roof being replaced.
- The City’s Homelessness Officer is undertaking initiatives to respond to homelessness across the city.
- The City has paid businesses to undergo audits to improve access and inclusion features.
- Midland Town Hall, Dulcie Liddelow Netball Centre and the Men’s Shed Workshop have been upgraded.
- Implementation of ‘Healthy Streets Assessments’. This will help improve streetscapes.
- Planting of everlastings through the town centre.
- Ongoing mulching and paving repairs.
- New streetlights on Old Great Northern Highway.
- New roads surrounding Weeip Park to have a high level of urban design.
- $123,484.00 was provided by the City through various grants for events and activations.
- The City has signed a lease over Railway Square and will start to host events utilising this space.
- The City provides support for community groups to develop and deliver community activations.
- LoCale utilised as a key events space in the City.
- Extension of the Midland cycle path to the new train station.
- New sections of footpath on Alice St, Kensington St and Great Eastern Highway.
- Local Planning Scheme Amendment No.203 finalised to modify the zonings of lots in Bellevue to address land use conflicts.
